Monte Lobeira Viewpoint

Located on a small, wooded hillock, at about 290 metres above sea level, on a clear day you can enjoy panoramic views of Ría de Arousa, the isle of Ons, the O Grove isthmus, and even the Barbanza mountains and the Salnés Valley.
The viewpoint features a large, cross-shaped monument to the victims of shipwrecks, with a plaque from the British Admiralty in memory of the sailors that died when the training ship “The Serpent” sank.
It is a popular spot with trekkers, whose routes feature this viewpoint and neighbouring one at Faro das Lúas.
