Mar de Santiago will present its wide range of tourist products from November 7 to 9 at Fairway, the 4th Forum on the Camino de Santiago

If you want a close-up look at Mar de Santiago’s wide range of tourist products, you must visit the destination’s stand at the 4th Forum on the Camino de Santiago. The event will be held from November 7 to 9 in the Congress and Exhibition Hall of Galicia.

The tourist destination will have its own stand at the fair, where you’ll find all kind of information about the area’s tourist attractions. You can therefore discover more about the main tourist sites in the municipalities of Vilanova de Arousa, Catoira, Valga and Pontecesures. Moreover, you can take away all kinds of promotional and information publications, which will help you explore the destination’s leisure options.

“Your Camino doesn’t end in Santiago. Sail to the Origin,” is the slogan that Mar de Santiago will use to promote this tourist destination among professionals and the general public during the event’s three days. In this regard, the goal is to present the region as the ideal place for resting after travelling to Compostela.

Nature, beaches, cuisine, heritage and culture are the main attractions of this destination, which also features the world’s only Maritime Way of the Cross. Visitors are thereby invited to return to the origin of the Jubilee, the so-called Traslatio, a route with more than 2,000 years of history, and to follow the legendary itinerary of the Apostle James’ disciples, who sailed in a stone boat to bring his body from Palestine to Compostela.

And if you feel like listening to the tourist brand’s representatives themselves, as they explain all you need to know about these four municipal districts, then don’t miss the brand’s presentation. It will take place on Monday, November 8, at 11.45 am in the venue’s Hall A. In this session, you’ll discover why Mar de Santiago is the perfect addition to the Jacobean experience.

A landmark event in the tourist sector linked to the Camino

Now in its fourth year, Fairway has become a landmark event for the tourist sector linked to the different Camino de Santiago routes. The exhibition hall will feature more than 80 exhibiters, located in an area of more than 1.800 m2. The fair will include the tourist products available in all the autonomous regions through which the different Jacobean Routes pass, in addition to the north of Portugal, as well as organisations and companies that provide services along the different Jacobean itineraries.

Furthermore, the 4th Forum on the Camino de Santiago will feature different types of activities, such as training and informative initiatives, presentations of destinations, leisure options for all ages –within the Open Day section– or business meetings. In the case of such meetings, Fairway includes the presence of 40 tour operators, who’re eager to discover new tourist destinations and attractive products for visitors.
